Cotinus 'Royal Purple'

A large, upright shrub spreading with age. In spring, the foliage emerges a rich maroon-red, darkening to a velvety purple. Insignificant flowers turn into dusty wine-red feathery plumes, hence the name Smokebush. Rich reddish-purple fall colour.
